Most ordinary household, renovation and cleanout debris can be handled, but certain materials are prohibited by disposal facilities, safety rules or the rental agreement. Review the list below before loading.
Toxic or corrosive materials, asbestos, paint, gas bottles, fluorescent tubes, light bulbs and other hazardous or malodorous waste.
Liquids of any kind, whether contained or not, including paint, oil and similar fluids.
Tires and vehicle batteries cannot be disposed of in the roll-off.
Medical waste and animal carcasses are prohibited.
Cans, drums and similar containers must be empty, crushed and incapable of holding liquid before disposal.
Refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, washers and dryers should not be placed in the dumpster. Ask Roadrunner about separate appliance pickup.
Extremely heavy debris such as shingles, rock, dirt, concrete, brick, tile, plaster and large quantities of drywall can create weight and hauling issues even when there is still physical space left in the dumpster.
Roadrunner can handle some heavy material projects when arranged in advance. Call before loading so we can discuss the material, estimate weight and tell you the appropriate rental approach.
Roadrunner offers appliance pickup by request for items such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, drained hot water tanks and air-conditioning units.
Because disposal requirements vary by appliance, contact Roadrunner before placing one inside a roll-off. We can explain the appropriate pickup option for the items you have.
Please ensure the dumpster is loaded evenly, and that no items crest over the top or sides of the dumpster. This ensures our tarp seals against the dumpster sides so that no materials eject while we are on the road, preventing accidents or injuries.

Unallowed materials that are extremely heavy can put us over our USDOT road hauling limits, and can also cause high fees at the landfill, including weight overages, and heavy equipment assisted digouts. This picture is an example of a 7.4 ton load.
No. Liquids, including paint and oil, are not allowed in Roadrunner dumpsters.
Not as a standard load. Heavy material such as concrete, dirt, rock and brick must be discussed with Roadrunner in advance and may require a different arrangement.
Do not load appliances without talking to Roadrunner first. Separate appliance pickup is available for many common household appliances.
Call (810) 354-7752 before loading it. It is much easier to confirm an item in advance than to remove prohibited material before pickup.
